Sunday 14 June | 3.00 pm – 9.00 pm
To mark the conclusion of the exhibition (un(h)armed at Clublokaal, Platform BK and Clublokaal are organising a panel discussion and collective working session on the role of art and education within the state’s agenda of militarisation.
What options do we have as artists and cultural workers when we encounter institutional claims of neutrality and exposed complicity? And how can we, within our practice, engage with state militarisation, armed resistance and the differences between them?
Register now for the afternoon and/or evening session and think along!

As part of the current exhibition (un(h)armed, April 25–June 14, Stop Wapenhandel is organizing two workshops on the arms trade and arms flows.
Both workshops are free and can be attended separately. Donations are welcome at the bar!

until 14 June
Opened Friday until Monday 14:00 - 18:00
Everywhere you look, you are confronted with the militarization of society. In a city like Breda, with a long history as a city of the army, this is even more visible.
In the exhibition (un(h)armed, artists and activist initiatives, together with visitors, explore strategies for dealing with a world in which (war) violence is a daily reality. How can we arm ourselves against war rhetoric and polarization? How can we ensure that we stand in solidarity with one another?
The exhibition is free to visit. Donations are welcome!
