At the invitation of BredaPhoto, FOTODOK is bringing the group exhibition A Spell Bundle – Manifesting Queer Futurity to Clublokaal as part of the festival. The exhibition is curated by Daria Tuminas and brings together work by five artists: Donja Nasseri / Ebun Sodipo / Julius Thissen / Nayara Leite / S*an D. Henry-Smith.
For everyone involved in the feminist activists of Dolle Mina Breda, curious or interested in the activities of the Dolle Minas. Come chat, listen and plot collectively!
Come and spend an afternoon crafting with your child, babysitting child, grandchild, godchild, nephew, sister... at Clublokaal! Esther, volunteer for Breda Internationals, hosts the monthly kids’ café; a cozy and creative gathering where you can meet other (international and local) parents/caregivers and kids.
This time we will craft autumn figures from leaves, acorns and clay. Vegan snacks and craft supplies are provided!

What does it mean ‘to summer’ as a movement of care and gentleness, in times of geopolitical tension? And what does 'zomeren' mean as a context for creating an exhibition? Zonuren, calling upon solar time is an invitation to visitors to make space and to slow down in times of exhaustion, time pressure, social and ecological burn-out.
collective z o m e r e n (Aliki van der Kruijs, Lenn Cox, Melanie Bomans, Niki Milioni, Rosanne van Wijk en Sanne Karssenberg) consists of makers and cultural workers who each engage with relational forms of making and doing in different ways, through their artistic practice, working with textiles, clothing, sound, visual (grammar), systems, the weather, ecotones, economies, somatics, pedagogy, and forms of collectivity.
